Joe Anthony Correia is a dairy professional
with great understanding of his work. His grandfather Jose Correia
started his own dairy business long time back with just one cow. His
wife kept his side during the process and had three children all born
in Portugal. Eventually the family moved to Escalon and established
their dairy business by the name – Correias Dairy. The dairy is the
family's main home where all the members reunite.
Joe
Anthony Correia’s family dairy business
has maintained itself for a long time. His father has also build a
business in beef cows and currently has Black Angus beef cows
scattered in the valley. A couple of times a year, the family brands
their cows, also known to people as “brandings”. Joe’s mother,
Lisa Correia works at MARVAL food stores and
makes the best tri tips that are served at these brandings. Joe and
his family strongly believe in supporting social causes to bring a
good change in the community. Every year, they donate a cow for the
Portuguese fiesta.
Joe Anthony Correia from Escalon is also a sports enthusiast. He has played football in high school, & soccer and baseball as a youngster. His favorite football teams are the Oregon ducks and Kansas City Chiefs. As he grew up, he started to participate in four-wheel-drive races where he was awarded first and second place trophies.
